Watched the pilot for Pillars of the Earth. Snooze fest. Season pass: cancelled. -- TWuG, Jul 30, 21:52 | Lacks subtlety.
Though it was cool to see Tony Curran. I recognized him from his role as van Gogh in Doctor Who right off and had high hopes for the series.
Sadly, those hopes were dashed by crappy writing and awful directing.
Lots and lots of shots of people looking knowingly at one another while the audience tries to figure out who they are and what they're on about.
